We’re looking for a professional product designer with innovative visual skills to empower us deliver products that work well and look the part. You will join one of our B2B product teams with a special focus to improve the quality of the UI they deliver, and you'll be part of the product development process from A-Z; from problem definition, through discovery, to conceptualisation of solutions and final delivery of the UI.

In your role, you will:

  • Collaborate daily with product managers, engineers and other designers to define, design and deliver high-quality products.
  • Gather (research/test) and communicate insights that move your design decisions.
  • Encourage the brand experience to new heights by delivering high quality UI designs.
  • Be part of raising the bar for visual design in R&D through design critics, feedback sessions and close collaboration with designers and engineers across the department.
  • Shape features from early concepts to high fidelity prototypes.
  • Work closely with other designers to build out a coherent experience across the user journey, and to develop and expand our design system.

We are looking for people with:

  • A great eye for visual design, and a well developed craft designing UI demonstrated in a portfolio or presentation of work
  • An ability to explain their work and decisions to their cross-functional team and stakeholders, and that creatively gather feedback to produce their best work.
  • Experience practicing the broad range of activities involved in product design; ideation and facilitation, conceptualisation, validation/testing, UI, and more.
  • System thinking. You are able to apply our design system, and contribute to it by extrapolating patterns and behaviours from a specific instance to the larger experience and vice versa.
  • Have min. 2 years relevant design experience at a tech, product-driven company
  • Have experience using Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD. We are using Figma.
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral. Fluency in other languages is a plus that you should tell us about.
  • It’s a plus if you have a special focus area that you are enthusiastic about, fx. sweats the details over animations or takes pleasure in crafting icons and illustrations.

We are:

The Trustpilot design team, part of the Trustpilot R&D department. The design team collaborates and supports each other with design critiques, design studios, deep dive sessions, and more structural initiatives like a shared design system. You will report to - and partner closely with a senior UX Manager. You will also work with our design system - and brand design teams.

You will join a cross-functional product team consisting of a product manager, engineers, and including yourself one or two designers. Together you will frame opportunities, strategize, conceptualise, explore, test, and iterate your way to delivering value for millions of people using Trustpilot. Expect to make a big impact as part of an agile product team, and practice a broad range of skills as you go through the product development cycle from A-Z.
