Commercial Operations Director

The Commercial Operations Team is Trustpilot’s engine room, engaging with most departments within the company to ensure consistent and efficient processes. The department currently consists of 24 employees across our Copenhagen, London and New York City offices. You will be reporting to the VP of Sales & Marketing Tech & Operations who is working from the London office.

Trustpilot is seeking a dynamic and analytical Commercial Operations Director to lead the US Operations team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, and resourceful person who will be working closely with our local sales and customer success departments, along with our Global Operations team to build out a strong operational infrastructure to scale a rapidly growing team. You will be responsible for collaborating with senior leaders on strategy, implementing key initiatives, driving analytical rigor and managing day to day operations of the commercial organization. 



  • Leading a team of individual contributors, help them build skills and develop them in their further career.
  • Creating an Inspiring and motivating culture that attracts top talent and builds a collaborative and mentally healthy environment
  • Partner with senior commercial leadership to create and implement US sales & Customer Success strategy.
  • Work cross functionally with finance, tech, the people team, and marketing on behalf of the commercial department to implement key initiatives such as lead routing, headcount planning and target setting
  • Drive analytical rigor throughout the commercial organization. Create reporting and dashboards, perform analysis and facilitate monthly and quarterly reviews to enable transparency and data-based decision making. 
  • Build an operational infrastructure that allows the business to scale. Create processes and proactively seek opportunities to increase efficiencies. Examples include sales policy, increasing rep productivity through systems and workflow optimization
  • Be a broker of sales engagement/ownership issues between the Sales and CS departments globally to facilitate collaboration and order
  • Define, improve, and automate core operational processes such as: lead routing, pipeline management and Customer Success Journey.


Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in a sales operations or commercial operations role, and at least 5 as a people manager
  • Organized and can juggle working on multiple projects at once
  • Analytical mindset, a passion for working with data, and advanced Excel or Google skills
  • Proven experience in managing a team, driven and friendly personality, data driven decision making, disciplined work habits, strong ethic and attention to details will all be key to the role.
  • Build and maintain deep relationships 
  • Able to present and implement your ideas in order to get better solutions
  • Ability to collaborate with departments ensuring priorities are moved forward.
  • An ability to prioritize workload, take personal responsibility to meet commitments and actively seeks additional responsibility. An ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision making with senior-level audiences
