Changes to flagged review emails

Thursday, April 23, 2026

At Trustpilot, we share your goal of ensuring every review on our platform is fair and trustworthy.
To help you manage your flagged reviews more efficiently, we’ve updated how we share our decisions with you.

What’s changing?

We’re moving to a more structured approach to give you faster, more consistent updates. While you'll still receive an email for every decision about a review you flagged, you can no longer reply to these emails.

Instead of replying to the email, you'll find direct links within the message to take the specific next step you need, including a link to appeal our decision.

How to appeal a decision

If you think we’ve made a mistake, we want to hear from you. Just follow these steps:

  • Open the decision email you received.

  • Click "Appeal our Decision"

  • Explain why you think the decision is wrong and attach any supporting documents.

Your appeal will be reviewed by our team of specialists. They will carefully review the case along with the information you provide and keep you informed of the progress.
