Account Development Representative - DACH (m/w/d)

As an Account Development Representative you are a self-starter who primarily will focus on generating and qualifying new business opportunities for the sales team, and will be responsible for developing new business for the DACH market. Partnering with the Sales Executives of the German market will give you the opportunity to develop and enhance expertise in managing the full sales cycle through a mentee/mentor relationship. We are looking for self-motivated individuals looking to build a solid foundation in software sales.
Role and responsibilities:
- Prospect and identify clients to contact via cold calling or email outreach
- Build relationships with prospects across multiple sectors, and identify new opportunities within the DACH market for the Sales Executives
- Research prospects and identity key stakeholders in order to generate interest and develop good rapport
- Maintain an organised pipeline and activity records using Salesforce.com
- Reach, and exceed, key performance indicators including leads generated and qualified appointments set
- Develop skills necessary for promotion into a full, closing role with individual target
- You have a relevant educational background, e.g. degree in sales or business
- Entry level to 1 year of sales experience
- An interest in building a career in sales
- You are ambitious, self-driven and result oriented
- You speak and write German fluently and have a high level of English communication skills
- Experience with Google SEO and SEM will be considered a clear advantage
- Positive and energetic attitude with exceptional communication skills
- Resilience, perseverance, and the ability to overcome objections
- Ability to work in a high-energy, sales-team environment; team player
- Cold calling, sales training and Salesforce.com experience a plus
