Data Analytics Manager (Trust & B2C)
At Trustpilot, we're on an incredible journey. We're a profitable, high-growth FTSE-250 company with a big vision: to become the universal symbol of trust. We run the world's largest independent consumer review platform, and while we've come a long way, there's still so much exciting work to do. Come join us at the heart of trust!
Trustpilot is on a mission to create better experiences for everyone through our platform. But to do that, we need to protect the integrity of our community and deeply understand our consumers. We’ve built a world-class analytics team that spans continents and cities - and now, we’re looking for a leader to look after two of our most critical areas: Trust and B2C.
Trust: This team is the guardian of our platform. They use data to stay one step ahead of bad actors, working with the teams that build the models and detection systems that identify fake reviews and ensure Trustpilot remains a universal symbol of integrity.
B2C: This is our consumer growth engine. The team focuses on deeply understanding the user journey - from the moment someone lands on our site to the moment they leave a review - using behavioral insights to drive engagement and personalize the experience for millions of consumers.
As an Analytics Manager, you will lead a focused team of 4 analysts, ranging from Junior to Lead level. You’ll be the bridge between technical excellence and strategic business impact, ensuring our platform remains a trusted space while accelerating our consumer growth.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead & Develop: Manage, mentor, and coach a high-performing team of Trust and B2C analysts. You’ll be responsible for their growth, well-being, and delivery discipline.
- Strategic Partnership: Act as the main point of accountability for stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Content Integrity, and Legal. You’ll help them shape strategies and ensure they have the data they need to make high-impact decisions.
- Technical Mentorship: Act as the final line of defense for technical excellence. You will oversee code reviews and architectural decisions, ensuring our data models (dbt) and analysis scripts are scalable, performant, and reproducible.
- "Hands-on" when it counts: While your primary focus is leadership, you aren't afraid to jump into the codebase. Whether it’s helping an analyst debug a complex Python script, peer-reviewing an R model, or writing a mission-critical SQL query during critical delivery windows, you lead by example.
- Safeguard the Platform: Oversee the analytical backbone of our Trust & Transparency domains, helping enhance platform integrity.
- Drive B2C Growth: Guide B2C analysts as they translate behavioral insights into actionable recommendations to optimize the consumer journey and drive exponential user growth.
- Own the Roadmap: Build and execute a domain-level roadmap that aligns with company-wide OKRs and long-term goals.
Who you are:
- Experienced Leader: You have a track record of managing and developing data professionals in a formal or informal capacity.
- Technical Powerhouse: You possess a very solid, practitioner-level grasp of SQL and either Python or R. You have likely spent several years as a Senior or Lead Analyst and can still "speak the language" fluently with Engineering and Data Science teams.
- Code Quality Advocate: You believe in version control (Git), clean code, and robust documentation. You can spot a logical flaw in a complex join or a bias in a statistical model from a mile away.
- Strategic & Tactical: You have the wisdom to know when to delegate and the ability to roll up your sleeves and code when the situation demands a "player-coach" approach. You don’t just manage from a spreadsheet; you’re comfortable opening a notebook or terminal to understand the 'how' behind the 'what'.
- Collaborative & Influential: You’re comfortable partnering with VPs and Directors to advocate for the value of analytics and influence product strategy.
- Agile & Proactive: You thrive in fast-moving environments and have excellent prioritization skills to balance long-term projects with immediate support.
Why join us?
You’ll be at the heart of what makes Trustpilot unique. Whether it’s scaling our enforcement systems to fight abuse or using data to personalize the consumer experience, your work will directly impact the trust of millions of users worldwide. You'll join a team where technical skill is respected as much as leadership ability, and where your contribution has a visible footprint on the product.
