In your role as Senior Community & Office Manager, you will manage our London hub while providing oversight for our WeWork Edinburgh site, supported by an on-site Community Champion. You will lead the delivery and implementation of our community and office strategy across both London and Edinburgh. Working closely with our brilliant Head of Community & Office in Copenhagen, you will also assist them with broader departmental initiatives as needed.
What you'll be doing:
Create meaningful connection, through:
- Community communication – being the face of the local community, in the office and on Slack, our primary internal communication tool, championing and encouraging community communication; locally activating company campaigns through posters, digital screens (where applicable) and other mediums; gathering informal feedback from Trusties to help us understand community sentiment about key topics
- Meaningful relationships – forging relationships cross-functionally within your local community; welcoming new starters on day one, helping them settle in; meeting and greeting visitors
- Connected leadership – supporting with the set-up and organisation of senior leadership events (for example: ‘Ask Me Anything’ sessions with the board or executive team), collaborating with our executive assistants to support senior leadership and board members when AGMs, board meetings and exec meetings are hosted in your office
Develop and deliver a five-star office experience, through:
- Slick operations and clear communication – defining, delivering and communicating a clear service proposition; managing the day-to-day operations of the office; collaborating with key stakeholders on requirements; maintaining and continually improving the office environment; keeping a close eye on office feedback to make sure we’re meeting and exceeding expectations; ensuring the office is an inclusive workplace
- A safe and secure workplace – keeping our Trusties safe and secure in the office; making sure we comply with local health and safety regulations; mitigating security risks
- Accurate budget management – inputting into budget forecasting; managing the office budget on a day-to-day basis; making sure invoices are paid in a timely manner
Bring Trusties together for social moments that matter, through:
- Celebrations and events – organising and running local celebrations, like Trustpilot’s summer party and end-of-year party, coordinating community-wide get-togethers; supporting Trusties with the logistics of their in-office events
Additionally, you will regularly support continuous-improvement project work as part of your role.
Who you are:
- Strong previous experience in a hospitality-focused role
- Strong planning skills and demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- A compassionate leader who inspires others to perform at their best
- Positive with a solution-orientated, can-do attitude
- Able to embrace the pace and like it when things move fast
- A natural communicator with a creative streak, who’s a critical thinker, accurate, with attention to detail
- Super-social and a strong collaborator
- Able to work independently and take ownership and accountability
- Clear and precise communication skills in English
Additional information
- Travel to other Trustpilot offices may be required on occasion as part of this role. This will usually be within Europe & UK and will likely be infrequent.
- This role is office-based. You should expect to be in the office 5 days a week.
